Sheykh Abu Taubah has been arrested

An experience by a sister who wishes to remain anonymous.

Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem
All Praise be to Allah Subhana Wa ta’ala
Assalam Alaykum Wa rahmatullahi Wa barkatuhu

A day before yesterday I found out that our dear Sheykh Abu Taubah has been arrested. It brought a great deep sadness to me and my friends. We have always learned a lot from this Scholar who taught us so much Alhamdulillah.

Our scholars are our leader. Tears started flowing from my eyes when I raised my hands to make du’a to Allah Subana Wa ta’ala for this Sheykh. This is year 2011, so far I have heard so many Scholars have been sent to the prison.

If our leaders are sent to the prison then how will our ummah be guided? I remember when I read the Seerah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, the Sahabas. The Ansars and the Muhajireen gave away their lives to protect him.

How is it that our scholars are going to the prisons and we are living so normally as if nothing happened? How are we giving up so quickly and let those Dear Scholars who taught us so much be put to prison for no reason for many many years??

I encourage the ones who cannot do anything at the moment, please make du’a for Sheykh Abu Taubah.

After every single prayer, make du’a. Lift up your sword (du’a is the weapon of a believer). Fight your enemy (shaytan)!! Get up from your bed in the last third of the night. Make du’a to Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala with tears in your eyes. Feel the pain of the Scholar and the Scholar’s family. We are One Ummah. If one gets hurt, we all get hurt. No one and No One can dare take our Righteous scholars away from us if we all unite and increase in our imaan!! Allahu Akbar!

May Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala release Sheykh Abu Taubah and make it easy on him and his family Ameen ya Rabb :'(

  1. That's an amazing story but Abu taubah is not a scholar or Shaykh… He is a student if knowledge

  2. ameen ameen ameen thanx sister i wish we could all stand together as one ummah and talk about the injustice our brothers are facing for spreading dawah

  3. please write the brother a letter and give like you would want for us to give to you if you were in his situation. I know him he is a good man not involved in the jihadi thought or anything like that.
