I am in Love in Ramadan!

An experience by Ishrat Ali

This Ramadan, life being all busy and a bit crazy. Here I am just worried about my Ramadan checklist trying to get it all done. I have been reading the book, Ar Raheeq Al Makhtum. I thought it would be great to start my Ramadan by reading and learning from the biography of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam.

While reading I felt great. My heart started beating rapidly. All my thoughts were about Allah. Reflecting upon the events that occured during the times of Prophet SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, I now knew and felt how much blessed I was to be in this religion.

My heart just was racing and I felt so much happy. I am in love. I love my Allah, The Messenger of Allah SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam and Islam as my religion. I asked myself a few questions and found some amazing answers.

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Allah who loves you more than anyone in this world?

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Allah who grants you anything you wish for?

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Allah who forgives your sins no matter how big they are?

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Allah who asks you to do good and forbid evil for your own good?

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Allah who has sent Prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam as a mercy to you before you were born?

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Who rewards you like no other?

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Who has opened the gates of Paradise in Ramadan waiting to reward you?

Do you know your One and Only Lord, Allah Who cares for you more than anyone in this world?

To Him we belong and to Him we return. Allahu Akbar! All praise be to Allah Swt who has given us everything. Alhamdulillah. I love my Allah and there is so much that Allah has given that we fail to see. We see what Allah has forbade us, but not see why? For our own good.

This world will Leave us but Allah is Ever Living and He is always there for us. Only we extend our love to Him, He will come to us running.

Narrated Abu Huraira RadiAllahu Anhu: Allah’s Messenger SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam said, “Allah says: ‘I am just as My slave thinks I am, (I.e., I am Able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers Me. If he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people I remember him in a group that is better than them; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.’” [9.502-O.B] Sahih Al Bukhari

May Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala help us taste the sweetness of Ramadan, forgive all of our sins, love us and make us all among His righteous slaves Ameen

Nothing is more dear to me than to please Allah and to do everything to be close to Him. SubhanAllahi Wa Bihamdihi SubhanAllahil Azeem
